Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Sri Ayank Mishra, learned counsel representing respondent Nos. 2 and 3.
According to the learned counsel for the petitioner out of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 30 answers as indicated by the respondent examining authority were incorrect to which objections were filed by the petitioner. The respondent examining body corrected their answer in respect to 11 questions, however the objections with regard to remaining 19 questions were not accepted by the respondent examining body. This resulted into material irregularity in the examination process. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that evaluation on the basis of incorrect answers materially affects the results of the selected and the unselected candidates.
Sri Ayank Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent may obtain instructions with regard to the averments contained in the petition within a week. Put up this case in the additional cause-list on 31st January, 2017
