i have some pdfs and power point presentations taken from IMD-NGSU's ( Non Gazetted Saff Union) website. {This union has 1500 members all employees of IMD}. Which clearly indicate that the vacancies for scientific assistant post can easily increase upto 3500 from 1102, if IMD's DGM and Secretary for MoES approves few simple and genuine proposals of the Staff Union sent to them repeatedly. Secondly these pdfs even point out that B.E / B.Tech candidates irrespective of any branch are not eligible for this Job, Except only in the case of 2011 where IMD made a grave mistake by stating in its clarification note that "the degree/ diploma Must be of ATLEAST 3 yrs" instead of mentioning it as "the degree/ diploma Must of three yrs" which it did correctly in 2017. IMD hired around 200 Engineers for the 1st time for the post of scientific assistant in 2011 and all of them were from E&C branch. I feel B.E / B.Tech will not be accepted as an eligibility in 2017, if at all only E&C branch will be accepted. Iam unable to share all the official info in this group, can anyone tell me how can i tag those PDFs and Presentations on this platform???

Seriously guys/gals looking at all the circumstances would you agree that there is a appreciable probability that cutoff for UR can go upto 160/200. And in such a case whatever little bit of relief we had till now (UR people having scores between 130-150) is all but futile! We all are getting happy by forming a group of around a 1K students and discussing amog ourselves, but there are more than 160K out there; WHO knows how much they have scored. Appologies for coming out to be so anxious, but just wanted to put forward another perspective.
