what might be the reason behind imd's delay???
- a delay in 3-5 months will save them the money which should be paid as salary for 1102 scientific assistant for these delayed 3-5 months
- imd staff are so dedicated towards they weather forecasting work and couldn’t find time to process the final result
- getting themselves ready to face the legal issues caused due to eligibility criteria
- they found flaws in the recruitment procedure like normalization, etc and taking time to correct it or find a solution
- it’s a government process bro…they take there own time

After a short research........expected cutoff according to number of candidates (category wise) appeared in exam
1) with B.Tech eligible
Gen: 130-136; Obc: 118-123; Sc: 90-95; St: 81-85
Note: more than 40% seats of gen will be filled by OBCs
2) without B.Tech
Gen: 125-130; Obc: 115-120; Sc: 85-90; St: 75-80

All those btech who are saying they will approach court against imd for not allowing btech should have done so when notification was published which in effect made btech ineligible. That would have made process less lengthy .they could move court even now which would still save some time.
