I have prepared an Excel sheet of cgl 2016 final merit list. Different kind of analysis can be done on that. Please reply in english if you do. 2016 CGL - IP obc vacancy excluding AAO STAT = 579 2017 CGL - IP obc vacancy excluding AAO STAT = 782 2017 OBC CANDIDATES above 496.5 clearing UR cutoff = 4364 2016 OBC rank 4364 marks upto tier 2 = 431.5 So +60 in tier 3 avg marks = 491.5 2016 OBC 4364 rank holder got 491.5 This year OBC 4364 rank holder got 496.5 So plus 5 marks increased averagely. This increase in cutoff is compensated by +200 OBC IP vacancies. So final cutoff for OBC IP will increase at the most 3-4 marks for OBC to 532-533. Still if many top rank holders go for AAO STAT it's extra bonus for IP Post aspirants. So don't fall prey to other fake marks tsunami propoganda.
