The electricity bill of a certain area is partly fixed and partly varies as the amount of electricity consumed. When in a certain month, 250 units are consumed the bill is Rs 7.25 per unit. In another month, when 400 units are consumed, bill is Rs 6.5 per unit. What will be the effective rate per unit when 500 units of electricity are consumed.
