Nw GK is a game changer in SSC cgl tier 1 as any one easily attempt 50 que of maths n reasoning in 50-55 mins....so all depends on GK:(

Highlights of Changed Pattern of SSC CGL 2016
1) Prelims will be held in Online mode
2) There will be no sectional cut-off in Prelims
3) Prelims will Consist of 100 Questions (25 Questions each of 4 sections)
4) It will be of 200 Marks and 75 Minutes
5) Prelims start from 27 August 2016
6) Tier 2 Online mode, Pattern No Change
7) Tier 3 Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi (writing of Essay/Precis/Letter /Application Writing etc. of 100 Marks
8) Merit Will be Made on Score of Tier 1 + Tier 2 + Tier 3
9) Tier 4 will be Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) as usual (Qualifying)
10) Document Verification will also be conducted.

hi all..now that we have a ''date''
while filling the CGL 2016 form, i have entered wrong year in my work ex...1992-1992 instead of 2014-2015. don't know if it was really my mistake(most probably) or a technical glitch.
will it be a major problem going forward or an affidavit would b fine??

In notice ssc said
treating Tier-I examination as only qualifying etc. bt at the end of notice they said
The final merit will be prepared on overall performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III. However, the candidate will need to qualify all the tiers i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III separately.
Now tier 1 is qualifying or not?
