This post is all about Euler's theorem :- (remainder questions are limited the boundary ) :-
Euler :- like Newton , Euler ne mathematics , graph theory me dhoom machai thi ............ so , starting with the simple theorem
let we have to find remainder of a^x/d so, here a and d must be co-prime means hcf(a,f)=1
now , we have to follow some steps :-
step 1 :- check whether co-prime or not HCF(a,d)=1
Step 2 :- If co-prime , then find euler's totient factor or function ..... first we have to composite d= k^m*l^n*b^t ...(composite factors ) where k,l,b are prime numbers ...
so euler's totient factor (e)= d*(1-1/k) * (1-1/l) * (1-1/b)
step 3 => now , a^e% d = 1 ( where % = mod )
now , take an example :-
let we have to find remainder for 77^ 109/ 12
soln :- check 77,12 whether co-prime or not ... found co-prime so, proceed further
step 2 :- 12= 4*3 = 2^2*3^1 ... so, e= 12*(1-1/2) *(1-1/3) = 4
step 3:- now , 77^4 % 12 = 1 .... so , 77^108 * 77 % 12 = 77%12 = 5 as remainder
