I missed to fill "Mark of Identity". Is it going to create problem in future or at the time of documents varification ?

Please Help, new to SSC Form Filling. My order of preferences is MEA, CBDT, CBEC and then CAG (Group A), and then rest of the Group B posts. So Ideally I should fill BACD. Since, there are 0 vacancies in MEA, CBDT, CBEC, should I change it to ABCD. Considering there might be vacancies update after Tier1.
Suggest your opinion guys. Thanks in advance.

Petitioners ko free ke khane ki aadat padi huyi hai. Unko lagta hai ki court case aur niyam kanoon hi ek tareeka hai naukri pane ka. Khud ki kabiliyat to hai nahi. Bheekh na mile ya koi bheekh dene se mna kr de to kal ko bhikhari bhi case krna shuru kr denge. Inke bas ka nahi hai koi aur exam qualify krna. CBI SI Copied The other two answers have provided details about the job profile. I agree with that, in addition to that I would like to provide first hand experience of job and will add some more information also. so the one who is thinking to join might get a real picture of the job. As the fresh SSC candidates who joins every year as SI, almost 25% of them leave the job, for the reasons best known to them. so here it goes… Training part is awesome. for 8 months you will enjoy paid picnics (If you took the training positively) you will learn plenty of things from there. After training you might be posted to any branch. but it happens very rarely. most of the time you will be posted as per your choice. it also depends upon the vacancies available. Almost 50% staff of CBI works at Delhi only. Other offices are in state capitals only and those offices are very small as compared to Delhi Head Office. For example, if your preference is Chandigarh, but at present there is no vacancy of SI at Chandigarh then you might be posted to Delhi or Shimla. Sub Inspector period is considered as honeymoon period. as there are less responsibility. Responsibilities come when your are assigned any case. There are 50–50% chances of getting a case for investigation while being SI. Otherwise only assistance kind of work in big cases is provided. Before 4 years of completion of service including training period, you will be promoted as Inspector of Police. After completion of 4 years of regular service with good track record you will be eligible to appear for departmental exam for the post of DSP. First such exam has already been conducted and 25 DSPs has been selected. and most of them are very young. if you have good learning abilities and have good grasp of general studies you will become DSP in no time. Travel. you have to travel a lot through out India. if someone does not like to travel then this job is not meant for them. they will become frustrated over a period of time. (This job is not meant for everybody who is seeking govt. job with the intention of less work more pay) CBI provides Special Incentive Allowances (25% of Basic Pay + DA and 13th month salary, in April two salaries) only because you have to do some extra work. People leave this job for plenty of reasons. but one of the major reasons are hard work travelling no upar ki kamai (Bribe) CBI is one of the honest departments of Cenral Government. No institutionalized corruption lies here as in other departments like Excise, Incometax, Customs etc. people compare this job with other jobs just because in other departments they get bribe while doing very less work. There is nothing like that in CBI. Place of posting for some people, as certain people have certain problems Responisibility. as everybody can not take so much of responsibilty But the kind of exposure CBI provides no other govt. job can provide. in short you sometime get the taste of Group A job while being in Group B job while being as SI & Inspector. CBI DSP is Group A Gazatted. This is the job for you if you… want to experience life, wants to learn new things and loves to travel throughout India dedicated towards work not looking for any sort of unethical extra income then this is the job for you. Respect. Respect is one of the major reasons that people stick to this job. whenever you introduce yourself to someone they give you due regard and respect. I have experienced this thing on plenty of occasions. One of my friend who worked in excise as Inspector, introduced himself in a social gathering. The other person immediately said sarcastically “Kitni Kamai Kar li” How much have you earned. Although he is a very honest person. but because of institutionalized corruption in revenue generating departments, the image officials carry is very corrupt. In person i learned a lot while being in this job. on an average basis i get to meet and got to know at least one person daily ( either witness or accused) you also get chance to help people as they are very hopeless with the kind of treatment they got from state police.

Please tell me one thing, generally log CAG ( group A) ko first preference kyun nahi de rahe, given it has highest grade pay i.e. 4800 and gazetted post too? Any specific reason for that? Genuinely asking, I havent filled the form yet.
