"According to notice published by SSC on 17.05.2017 that the final result of SSC CGL 2016 will be published on 10th August 2017 has caused a lot of bewilderment & heartache to bonafide candidates who are eagerly waiting for the results for the last few months. It is my humble request to the concerned authority to at least publish the tier 3 result as soon as possible which will act as a placebo to hapless candidates who at sea regarding their final standings. Failing which all the candidates of CGL 2016 would have to appear for CGL 17 which would be a waste of their time and resources. Plus it will also add to the Commission's workload. I hope the authority concerned will take the aforesaid points into cognisance."

SSC has conducted CGL exam 2016 tier 1 in august september 2016, tier 2 in november december 2016, tier 3 (descriptive exam) exam on 19 March 2017 and tier 4 skill test in may 2017. But today SSC status report say that final result will be declared tentatively by 10 August 2017. When all the exam have completed maximum one month is enough for further processing then why final result will be declared after 3 months. Previously SSC has conducted descriptive exam for CHSL 2015 exam for approx 45000 candidates and declared the result of exam in two months then why descriptive exam result for CGL (tier3) approx 33000 candidates is not declared yet as 2 months have already gone.
Therefore I request you to give order to the authorities concerned to expedite the process and give the result of tier 3 and final result of ssc cgl 2016.
