Hi Puys, Have been a member of this forum for quite some time .... more often than not I have seen so many guys commenting on South (some guys agnst north too) first of all for god knows what reason north Indians are obessed with Sarkaari jobs ....That is why North ppl crack 60% govt jobs .... But in south it is a whole diff thing ... ppl are more interested in Engg jobs .... every year of total seats in IITs/NITs more than 30% seats are filled by Telugu guys alone ..... in andhra pradesh 90% of yth dont even want to apply for govt jobs ... they are obessed with USA .... in my village 70% of my batch mates (10th) seniors/ juniors are in US doing MS/job ... South is much more developed as compared with North in almost all spheres i am quoting some facts below dont take other wise ... this is just an attempt to make those ppl who are un necessarily mocking south to realise how good south is as compared with ROI .... Not to hurt anyone's feelings !!!

4) The gulf in human development is so stark that while fertility rates in the South are closer to that of WESTERN EUROPE, much of the North is still getting their act together on basic issues like birthing babies without losing mothers
5) The state allocations speak to the quantum of skew. While Tamil Nadu gets about 40 paise for every rupee it generates for the centre, Uttar Pradesh fattens itself on Rs 1.8 per rupee it generates.
6) while It comes to Science and Development contribution of south is Unmatchable ... India's only nobel laureate in Science CV Raman is from south ... our beloved APJ abdul kalam/indias top civil engg bharata ratna mokshagundam visveswaraiah / astrophysist venkatraman radha krishnan / chandrasekhar etc all were southies...... 70% ISRO chairmens are southies ... majority of scientists working in DRDO&ISRO are southies...45% of total engineers/49% of total medical grads in Ind are southies but they only form 20% of country's population ..... south has highest percentage of graduates in stanford/harward/MIT ..... one of the greatest mathematicians of the world Ramanujan is a Tamil brahmin.... 55-60% IITians are southies, CEOs of global giants are southies MICROSOFT (satya nadella from andhra) GOOGLE (sundar pichai from TN ) Indranooyi (pepsico) to name the few
Literally India's Software industry is thriving on South and in south metropolitans Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai
Still I am proud to be called as an Indian not as south indian or North Indian

I made a mistake in PowerPoint today during my CPT.... I was supposed to enter the subtitle content in the given box, but i broaden the box along its width and hence, the text inside it took one extra word per line i.e. if it was supposed to end with 10 words but in my case it ended with 11. However, all the content inside is correct. What will be the error percentage in that and how many marks will be deducted.???
During our typing test, the officials forbade us to do anything after finishing the content. They said it'd be autosaved after given time. Felt a bit odd since there clearly was a save button. None of the candidates in my centre saved it. Although I realise that completing 2000 keystrokes in 15 minutes is well within the prescribed speed limit but still can someone clarify that it was indeed the right thing to do?
Worst management I have ever encountered at EDU Surge kolkata 700005...the system that I got was not working properly specially the mouse... Because of which I became unable to rectify my mistakes instead of finishing my test within 9 mins... Very upset...
