For those drawing analogies between interview and this year's descriptive Tier 3- For interviews you had people who were officers and very learned professors of reputed universtities who used to constitute the interview panel. Here in letter essay format the copies are outsourced to private companies for evaluation and that too on a low budget, so you can judge the quality of those privately hired teachers. Hence no analogy is logical in this mater in my opinion.
