They were to have been married last month but had to postpone the marriage untill next mont...the rule says use of perfect infinitive shd be done when an arrangement is to be made but cd not be carried out..
Then y this is correct....she was said to have been ill for a long time...or two people were said to hav been killed in the exploison....why not simply we can use she was said to be ill...or said to be killed???????
