I was alloted CGDA Auditor in 2013. I have recieved the joining letter 2 days back. But in 2014 I have got DA. So wud be joining the DA and not the CGDA. Plz tell whats the procedure of rejecting/declining the CGDA Auditor post? I shld write to whom regarding this ?

if am resigning technically in same post and same department will my service is counted for eligibility for promotion
i.e if worked as a ta for 2 years i ll be eligible to become sta in one year if i have resigned technically and will my 2 years service is counted for promotion or again i have to complete 3 years of service to become sta

which one is better in terms of promotions (not salary in starting)- Excise inspector or Divisional accountant
Many people here have commented that promotions are not good in excise . People have also commented here that If a Divisional accountant clears SAS exam promotions are good.
So is Divisional accountant better than excise inspector in terms of future promotions?

SOme people are saying that GST bill and cadre restructuring will bring better promotions in excise . Some people are saying the reverse of it. Which one is true?
