So results came and almost 75% were selected in IP posts and I wish luck to everyone and I am selected for po which is my third preference... I have searched in internet for description of all jobs so I want to throw some light abt these posts...
Power wise best jobs - iti (once iti becomes ito he will be more powerful than any other posts thru ssc) div accnt, cbn ( unlike other inspectors he will have si and constables under him and some area under him) central excise, customs,nia,CBI, CSS ( only once u reach to a level of undersecretary)
2. Money wise - customs( examiner) , CBN , customs (po), central excise, da, , iti ( only after reaching to level of ito) ta in CBEC, AEO.
3. Peace of mind wise - CSS assistants, assistant post in any dept, da, auditor, ta,iti,central excise( depends on posting) almost all nip posts except si CBN .
4. Status wise - CBI( just tel that u r from CBI and see the reaction of people) , customs,nia, iti,central excise, assistant in mea, aeo.
Job satisfaction wise- nia ( u r gonna fight with terrorists u will feel pride in ur patriotic work), CBI( u will feel power even sumtimes inspector questions an ias officer) assistant in mea, auditor in cgda.
6.promotion wise- CBI ( nothing matches with this dept in promotions if u enter dept at 22 u will be DIG at least at retirement) nia, assistant in CSS( only post where u will reach to a level of IAS) mea ( u will be confirmed in IFS before retirement) ...
I heard that a lot of injustice has been done to students.... some saying that there Tier 1+2 was very good but could not get post...etc. etc... So i want then in case if some discrepancy are found then entire reshuffling of post would be done?. A bit tensed because i am just on the edge.
Guys if enough people don't join a post then do the lower ranks get upgraded or get offered the job? For example many will leave due to not getting desired post or being selected elsewhere... Also, what if you want to take a lower post despite getting a better one, can you change?
