Expected Cut off for Interview Posts for UR.(for OBC decrease 17-27 marks from UR cut off) This is just an analysis. It.It can be true or wrong both.this is just a speculation or educated guess for cut for Interview Posts Total Candidates available in UR Category 4985 Vacancy in UR 4014 Average Interview marks in CGL2013 is 52 So Final Cut off for any Interview Post is 484(432+52)
Now Cut off for Different Posts I will give Equal importance to Examiner and ITI due to different merits and demerits so total 655 UR seats(222ITI+433Examiner) and cut off is 520 for Examiner and ITI for MEA,CVC,AEO,Railway(around 100 seats) cut off more than 520-530 above Cut off for Preventive Officer will 510(458+52) as of now 1100(349po+655+100) seats occupied
Now cut off for excise will be 488(436+52) and total number of seats ccupied is 3400(2291CEI+1100)
Now Cut off for CSS will be484(433+52)
for post like CBI and Postal inspectr or other assistant posts cut will be 505-510
If there is a question which is wrong, should one attempt that question anyways or should one leave it? I mean does SSC gives marks for that que only to guys who have attempted the question, or to everyone or to no one. If someone is absolutely sure of the policy then only give your valuable comments.

chairperson (M1) - he gone thru my profile, was reading the bio data form aloud. He asked me why i left my job as the job profile was good and the company was also reputed. I told him that the impact of my work was very limited and thru govt services even a small contribution could affect the life of millions. Thats was i want to do. Then he asked me about my 1st preference, I told him ITI. He told me to explain the profile. I explained that. Then he asked me the difference between direct and indirect taxes. I explained all that. He wanted to know about their contribution in gdp as well. I told that. Then he asked me about GST. Iexpalined a but. Then he wanted to know more about the advantages, I told few, he wasn't satisfied. He was looking for key term I.e. less tax evasion, which he himself told me. I thanked him for that. After that he asked me about Make in India project. I explained that briefly. He looked satisfied.
M2 - so u must have read about planning in detail, was his first ques. I told him very briefly sir. Then he asked me my fav subject. I told him micro economics. He asked me about Adam amith , his contribution and famous book. I told that but when I said wealth of nations his book , he said its not the exact name. I said sorry sir, this is what I could recall. Then he asked me about perfect competition, monopoly and duopoly. Told all this. Fir he asked me about cournot model. Explained. Then he asked about the kink demand curve. I said sorry sir couldn't recall. Then he explained himself about this.
F1 -she stated a statement of some famous economist. I couldn't recognise that. Then she gave me a hint that it was said in 1929. I told her its John maynard Keynes. She smiled and asked that what all measures that he suggested in great depression why those won't work in current scenario . I said mam I don't know the exact reason but I would like to put forward my opinion on this. She welcomed that. I gave some explaination. She looked satisfied. Then she asked me if I remember regression analysis. I said I will try answering. She asked me when we do test in regression e.g. one of the case is multicollinearity. Give some more example. I told her autocorrelation is one of them. She said very good, explain this and state one more. I explained that then I gave another example. She asked one more ques. I didn't knew that. And the interview got over. I thanked them and left.
Let's see what happens.
P.S - now everything is almost on the verge of completion. I would like to thank each and every member of pagal guy whose post really helped me in keeping up the prep and always was upto date. Thanks puys :)

Just a query - Why are candidates not too much excited about the post - ASSISTANT IN OTHER MINISTRY with 4600 pay scale that too in Delhi ? Shudn't this be given as much priority as CSS ?
yaar ye batao after paassing tier 1 and tier 2 and after giving interview and cpt , sab kuch ho jaane ke baad documents verificstion ho jaane ke baad bhi candidates ko disqualify kar dete hain kya?
suppose a candidate is selected in central excise or other post for which medical and height is necessary and he is not selected there , then will he be considered for the rest of the posts or not? please throw some light into this
