2. I have not submitted any other applications for this examination. I am aware that if I contravene this rule, my application will be rejected summarily by the commission."

Sorry for a query of 2015 but you are experienced so expecting any help.
In the notification of CGL 2015 it was mentioned that OBC certificate must be made between 12.6.2012 and 9.12.2015 but I did not read it that time (and I think many others also) now as we dont have that one we will be getting problem for sure. This may lead many good candidates to miss in their category. CGLE 2013 & 2014 allowed OBC certificates issued till the date of document verification.
So
Don't be hopeless no one can help us.
If you dont have OBC certificate issued between these dates please go to candidate's query section of SSC website and write to chairman about problem. I am not that much good in writing but you can take this sample "Read at the end" you can modify it according to yourself and write SSC chairman as soon as possible he is a good man he may consider seeing large number of candidates. Don't be late.

In notice of CGLE 2015 it was mentioned that OBC certificate in the prescribed format issued between 12.06.2012 and upto 09.12.2015, only will be accepted. I was not aware of this criteria as in my earlier attempts CGLE 13 and CGLE 14 the OBC certificates till the date of document verification were accepted. I do not have OBC certificate issued in this period.
Knowing that you are always positive to help genuine and meritorious aspirants, I request you to allow OBC certificates issued till the date of document verification. It will help many other candidates like me who worked hard to get a job through CGLE 2015.

Even the age limit for Railway Exam is 33 years, whereas for IBPS PO (Banking Services) it is 30 years. Those who belongs to the General category has to suffer a lot. We take 3-4 years to become a graduate. After being a graduate, there are only few attempts left for General Category candidates to appear for CGL exams considering 1 to 2 years of preparation for the exam. Moreover, cutoff age is considered from 1st August which leaves many candidates ineligible for appearing in CGL exam.Instead it should be reckoned as on1st January as it happened in CGL15 exam Also the expert commitee for recruitments to group B non-gadzetted posts recommended age limit to be fixed at 30years back in 2006 itself. The matter is in DOPT for last many years buts no progress has been made so far. If age limit is increased to 32 years for CGL exam, then youth of the nation will have 5 additional chances who otherwise are jobless considering the limited chances one gets till the current age limit of 27 years. We request you to look into this and change the age limit for CGL exams from 27 years to 30 years with an umbrella notification for all departments and ministries, so that the youth of the nation can have more chance to get a government job and serve the nation.
