No doubt PUMBA will give u a PU degree, but not much of an exposure. I'd suggest go in for BIMM because it has excellent faculty and various activities which enhance your personality. At this point of time its not the degree which matters but your exposure to the industry which counts.

first of all i would like to congratulate you that u have converted some good calls bt this is just the personal achievement and this doesn't give u the rights to demoralize any other student. u might be staying very near to the clg bt im the one who is staying inside the clg frm last one year so i think i can better tell you the ground realities.
this is complete non sense that if u got more than 65%ile in cat u should nt opt 4 this clg,i know so many ppl and in fact i have friends who scored 90%ile in cat and still opted for balaji society.
the only advise i can give to the freshers is if u got selected for balaji society then better contact seniors rather than listening to the ppl who don't even have any idea abt the clg.

If ur frnd sincerely interested in IB only then he can do onething. all this allocation of specialization is based on your total marks so what he can do is to write an application to the management that he want to pursue IB if his marks are up to the mark then there is a possibility that he could get IB before joining also,bcoz there are students who got selected but might nt going to join so they can promote you on that empty seats.

Who told you that you have to arrange summer internships on ur own......its all rumours abt sbs and i never understand why ppl spread such bad rumours abt any clg. since im the senior here and nowdays im doing my internship only i got it through clg only and i can assure u that clg will do evrythng possible 4 ur benefit u need nt to worry abt it.u just have to focus on ur own perfomance.

i mean wht makes you draw such a conclusion...you may live near da college...but you have never been in it....it makes no difference if you live 2 kms or 20 kms or 200 kms....

Hey avoiding these kinda guys is better. I am worried abt the selection procesure of IIMC. How can a looser like this (nishant) get a college like IIMC. Best of luck IIMC!!

sorry dude..you got this totally wrong...all our super seniors got placed...except about 7-8 students and that too due to reasons more than 1....
and for your information...the placement procedure of our seniors has started....1st company took up 22 students for a package of 6.5 lakhs...
also we have got some bigges lined up...yes much bigger than 6.5
but yes life is getting real tough here...we hardly find time...
neways itz best luck to you for now...
