sushuma SaysI need help from one of the seniors here please..I by mistake dropped my admit card during my PI process in the hotel whr the process was conducted (it happened in Hyderabad) and realised it after coming back home..will that be a problem..please help..chances are the sir who interviewed me may hav found it becoz he was the one who gave me the admit card sayin he didnt need that with the profile form and in the process of answering his questions (tensed like everyone) i guess, i dropped it becoz i dont remember carryin it whn comin out of the room..i mean no admit card so if i get selected later on will thr be problems tht i dont hav it or the sir wondering abt my carelessness and doesnt select me..am just tensed and i hope am wrong in the 2 conclusions..

JUST DOWNLOAD THE ADMIT CARD FROM THE WEBSITE AND KEEP IT WITH YOU FOR FUTURE..SO SIMPLE......

had my gd n pi today at Mumbai, some hotel management college in dadar.. woke up early in the morning inspite of sleeping late.. (the movie she's out of my league is a nice watch :P) and reached my gd n pi venue..
after standing in a long line for around 15 mins.. we were taken into this room where around 159 (yea..i knw 😛 ) students were sitting.. ahhhhh.. the fresh blast of cool air was welcome after the stupid heat of mumbai.. and as soon as i sat down.. i started yawning.. after 15 - 20 yawns.. they started with the presentation.. which wudve been quite nice if i hadnt been yawning so much.. 😛 .. in any case.. may of the doubts abt BIMM n associated colleges were answered in this session..
we were then divided into groups.. (luckily) mine was the first group to go down for the GD.. rest of the students were made to write an essay.. and fill a survey form.. which by the looks of it was really really long 😛 n had questions like which is ur fav reality shows.. etc etc..
we were taken into the GD room.. had 9 people in my group.. one was absent (god bless his soul for decreasing the competition) we used the 5 mins free time to get to knw the group.. and then the moderator came n asked us if we had any doubts abt any of the colleges of SBS.. after that the GD started..
we were given the topic "mumbai - for indians or for maharashtrians ?" had a nice discussion.. i guess the pre GD talk of 5 mins helped us break the ice and the whole group gelled quite well.. the GD lasted for around 20 mins.. at the end of the GD, the moderator joined in.. 😉 we had a talk with him on the topic for a couple of mins.. n then were asked to go to the PI rooms..
by this time i was already hungry.. but decided to shut it till my PI is over.. which in itself was cool.. was interviewed by an elderly man.. (E)

the only part i regret is that.. there were many biscuits kept there.. n i cudnt even pick one X-( .. (wat ? i was hungry.. ) ..
our whole group was done quite early with the GD n PI.. n since we had to wait for the second group to finish with their PI.. we thought of getting a bite to eat.. but no.. all the canteens in the college were closed on account of good friday.. i was hungry as hell ... n the only thing i cud think abt was.. wat id have written on my grave stone.. "died of hunger in a hotel management institute"
but luckily.. the student coordinator allowed us to go out n we got things to fill our stomach with.. :)
came back to the hall with all the AC n stuff.. 😛 there were still people waiting to be called.. started conversing with this cute chick.. who sadly was yet to be called.. started telling her abt my experience and was reprimanded by the lady scrutinizing the documents.. 😛
finally.. it was my turn.. the only problem.. i had no documents with me.. went for the process empty handed 😛 the lady who reprimanded me (R) was shocked..
R - where are ur documents.. ?
M - mam' i kinda forgot.. :P
R - wat ? arre wat kind of a person are u ? coming for admission ?
another prof - wel.. atleast he has a smile on his face..

it was essay time after that.. topic given was terrorism .. time 30 mins.. luckily i had a pen.. but nothing to write on.. so dragged a chair halfway to where i was sitting n used that to write my essay.. which was nice i guess 😛
well.. in short 😛 .. the whole process was fun.. made quite a lot of friends there..

you can apply with any percentile..the only criteria to get a call is you must have 60% or above 1oth onwards...
the test score has only 30% weightage..so it all depends on your gd/pi and essay performance to convert the call...

hey when are the GD-PI results llikely to come out for BIMM....as in ...the final selection list...i gotta confirm with other colleges wich have their confirmation dates earlier...plz let me know.

I have applied for Sri Balaji Society & my score was not good but i performed well in GD/PI.I asked to college seniors and they said the CAT/MAT scores has 30% weightage rest are 30% for GD & 30% for PI. So i think i will get through.I am hopping for the best.

At this score the chance of converting is very very very difficult Ankit Bhai. If possible, then go for another shot @ these entrance tests.
