what are the promotion chances in SIDBI and precisely what will be the in hand salary?
i know that i am asking the same old boring question that was discussed like a gazillion times here in this thread but still i would really appreciate if someone can give a proper answer.

for those who are waitlisted, here are some inferences-
1- sidbi is a lazy organization and doesnt have the capacity to conduct recruitment exams every year. last time it was held was in 2014.. before that it was in 2010 or 2011..
2- however, its roles, responsibilities and functions are increasing by the month- mudra bank, startup india, etc.. also govt's focus is on the msme sector- coz dats d sector wid maxm employment generation potential
3- hence, a lot is to be routed through sidbi
4- given all the above points, its highly possible that the number of vacancies may increase- THAT is why they called 8 times the candidates, and that is why they have created a waitlist of 124 candidates instead of around 30-35
5- they wouldnt want to conduct another recruitment cycle and as and when the need arises they might recruit from that list
6- now im not saying all 124 will get a job, but its highly possible that 20-30 dont join sidbi, and say another 20-30 vacancies due to the reasons ive cited above..
7- so guys, keep your hopes up.. cheers !
Did some digging on the result (only on shortlisted guys)
and found this -
Assumption 1: Panel were as per the first interview schedule list which was withdrawn later.
Assumption 2: There were probably 3 Panels (as someone said on the forum) - 2 from Mumbai and 1 from Lucknow.
1) A total of 1128 candidates were selected for interview. Out of these, 751 were interviewed by 2 Mumbai Panels and 377 were interviewed by 1 Lucknow Panel.
2) Out of 150 shortlisted candidates, 89 were interviewed by Lucknow panel and 61 were interviewed by 2 Mumbai Panels.
3) So Success rate for Lucknow Panel was (89/377) = 23.60%; whereas for Mumbai Panels, it was (61/751) = 8.12%.
4) So we can conclude that interview marks were taken on actuals and Mumbai panels were actually very tough nut to crack.
Besides this,
Actual vacancies were 150; General - 66, OBC- 42, SC - 22, ST - 11 and others - 9.
The final shortlisted Candidates includes 57 from General, 51 from OBC, 24 from SC, 12 from ST and rest 6 from others.
This means that some candidates from OBC/SC/ST were selected on General category seats.
P.S. - I checked it twice still there might be few mistakes if any. Please Don't blame me for that as I won't care.
