Doc verification done at 10 am .. Sidbi chennai office looks good .. the staff are relaxed and we were given tea, coffee or juice whenever needed ..
I went inside the room at 1:50 pm .. came out 2:20 pm .. 30 mins
It was a big conference room .. one end there is TV in which half the screen you can see the 4 panel members and other half you can see yourself
The lucknow panel is very friendly..
They asked my name and explanation. Done well
they asked why i didnt work for the past 2 and half years .. i said civils prep.. they were not satisfied
asked about my place of schoolings.. i mentioned madurai .. he was happy and started talking about madurai menakshi amman temple .. and out of the blue he asked about some other temple.. i cant recall its name .. he asked whether i have visited it.. i said NO.. he then said i should visit it cos he visits all temples even though he is a buddhist.. i said yeah i will..
suppose i write 5k rupee cheque on your name and you have lost it .. another guy with the same name cashes it in .. will he get money? how to take legal action against him ?
sidbi is my first bank exam i hardly know the ans for such hypotetical scenarios, so i said i dont know .. they said they will give me 5 mins to think of an answer.. i became nervous and this ruined my whole interview..
asked what is arbitrage ? dont know
asked hypothecation and mortage difference ? half answer
repo and repo rate? answered well
bill of exchange ? half answer
sidbi subsidaries .. i answered associates .. they interrupted and said subsidaries .. then i told mudra
asked about mudra .. answered .. anything related to mudra in budget? i gave the wrong numbers and they corrected me
then my grad subjects
Ohms law .. transformer .. types with explanation .. turns ratio .. some other questions which i cant recall now.. ill update if it comes to my mind.. overall done well in this section..
then the madam took over ..
she asked why i failed civils and the started asking polity questions.. how many articles for fundemental rights.. tell all of them.. i was able to answer them all that i can recall..
Overall im not satisfied with my performance.. i feel i wont make it to the final list.. anyway no time to worry .. need to start prep for ssc , upsc.. ill update this if im able to recall others questions ..
Im the 10th in the list.. i talked with most of the ppl who took interview that day.. questions hardly repeat.. prepare well on sidbi , grad subject , budget and banking terms..
