Just a thought.i maybe wrong.
Doesnt the descriptive portion of the second slot compensate for the tough GA? I mean second shift had some of the best and easiest topics to write on..don't wanna start an argument.correct me if i am wrong. 😃
guys 24th morning shift
1) attempted 164. CA- 20 (100% correct), GA- 40 (32 correct). Eng- 38. Quant- 32. Reasoning- 34 (4 wrong for sure).
my accuracy is usually >98% in eng, quant, nd reasoning sections.. judging by past bank po nd rbi exams dat ive appeard.. but yes ! i massively bungled in reasoning nd wasted a lot of time. Im expecting a score of 140-145/200.
2) had appeared for SIDBI 2014 and cleared the written and appeared for the interview in oct 2014. had attempted 152 that time. This time's english section was easier than last time's. quant and Reasoning were of similar level. computer section was easier in my slot than last time's for sure. but GK section- this was surely more difficult with some questions requiring focus on the finer points of currents.. for ex for how much was the paytm-shifu deal, etc..
3) spoke to atleast around 10 people post the exam (gzb centre). most attempted over 130. some people werent very comfortable with the descriptive section. people who attempted 130-140 were also very satisfied with their performance (just saying)
4) now as for the cutoff im just presenting my analysis here :
- twice the no of seats and thrice the number for general category since 2014. secondly im given to understand that there were 2 other exams on 24th (including mppcs). thirdly, exam was held very quickly- there was barely anytime to prepare. in 2014, the exam form was out on july 1 and exam was held on sept 1- hence 2 mnths ! this time gap was less than a month ! .. added to this, same level quant, reasoning sections, easier eng section, tougher gk section, more number of vacancies.. this should result in cutoff going below 114 (last time's cutoff).. on the other hand, more competition, peoplez level increasing every year, more vacancies so more attention by the competitive exam wali junta, more applicants and candidates- this should all push the cutoff upwards.. my bet is cutoff will hover around 115 +- 3 marks for the objective section. and add around 22-25 marks for descriptive.. so around 135-140 for a final intrvw call..
this is just my take folks.. opinions and comments are welcome !

Ga- 35(4-5 wrong only)
comp- 19 (3 wrong)
Eng- 28(dont say exact accuracy but i hope qualify this section)

i hope i will got interview call but lets see.....
Any guidelines on how to prepare for an interview (in case we get the call)?
