choosing a harder topic for essay like net neutrality instead of smartphone carries any advantage in marking?and what's the weightage of sticking to exact word limit ?in letter my word count was 135 not 150.will it become significant in marks?
I found GA 2nd shift very trivial and stupid .After giving two banking exams ,I can safely say that IBPS is encouraging rote learning and mugging up of numbers.Who the hell remembers what amount given by RBI to what bank??and considering the job profile,it is sheer idiocy to ask such questions.I think they should ask conceptual and basic questions like whom to report in case of this,in case of that,rather than asking such stupid questionS.
I think it's very sad that IBPS is testing rote learning in the name of current affairs. in today's day and age when everything is available on the internet, why the hell should any1 cram nos and data. Some1 very rightly mentioned in this thread and I can't agree more on that. Yes some questions were good, infact essay and letter was a good inclusion. But cramming nos of public shemes etc is sheer nonsense.
Guys what will be minimum possible cutoff marks for English section (2nd Shift)? Attempts: Computer : 19 (100% accuracy) GK : 24 (95% acc) Quant : 26 (100% acc) Reas : 49 (100% acc) Eng : 17 (80% acc :-( ) Please give genuine answer..

looking at the number of attempts candidates had,easy questions and less number of seats....I conclude the cutoff may be :
for general cat : 125-130 out of 200
and 155-160 out of 250...
