Mera 20% aa raha tha. Recheck karta huun. Shayad phir galat hoga
Bhai, mera kuch aa nahi raha ! Mere calculation ka bharosa mat karo.. ! Main to doubt puch raha hu ! Mujhe koi definite answer nahi mila !
@Estallar12 Mujhe to koschan hi samajh nahi aaya. Individual profit matlab kiska profit? Ye prep waale questions kabhi kabhi bade randomly worded hote hai. :angry:

@fisherking Oh tu isey controlled sum keh raha tha kya.. Ispe article hai pg pe, padha tha pehle. But eventually question mujhse kabhi hote nahi hai exam environment mein.

Yeh Controlled Sum waala funda hai ? 😲 :O
Mujhe concepts aate hain but naam kabhi nahi pata rehte. Descartes ka bhi nahin pata tha bahut time tak πŸ˜› :P

The concept seems similar to the inverse function concept, i.e., If the inverse of a function exists that means it is a bijective function right>?
Yes, right ! f(x) = 2x is an example of a bijective function. f(x) = x^2 is not a bijective.
@Estallar12 Arey controlling the game by controlling the sum, wahi central concept to hai.

Descartes matlab positive roots aur negative roots wala ?! Bahut hi random concept hai ! :angry: ... !

Doubt as in kya ? :splat: Sorry asking again. :(

Individual Profit as in if they sell them individually, toh uspe 4/3 and 5/3 increased profit waali prices pe ek saath sell karenge. Ab total profit bataana hai. :P

Haan wahi. Random kya hai usmein. :P

Aahhhh...ab samajh me ara hai kuch-kuch.. πŸ˜› Thanku very much..
@Estallar12 aur @RoadKill ap dono ko bhi :)

Haan. Concept wahi hai and use bhi kiya hai at times but kabhi naam se nahin. :splat::splat:

Author of this article is a KGP CS grad.. IMS mein kya kar raha hai?
Mujhe toh concept bhi pata nahi tha....So thanks for the article
As for the Handa guy,Chetan Bhagat bhi aisa scenario nahi nikaal payega jaha IIT KGP CS Grad is working IMS
Iske baare main sirf yeh bol sakte hain ki 'Anokhe logon ki anokhi pasand hoti hain'
@Estallar12 Naam se kya lena dena, mujhe bhi naam nahi pata tha. But unlike you, main kabhi successfully use bhi nahi kar paaya. :splat: Hamesha skip ya screw up.
@YouMadFellow Sir - f(x) = 2x is Bijective func. when S1 and S2 given set containing natural numbers ? :O

Real numbers pe bhi kaam kar jaayega. I think even complex pe chal jaayega. πŸ˜› 2x will give a unique value for all x irrespective of real/natural/complex. Similarly f(x)/2 (which is inverse of f) will give a unique value for all f(x). One one onto clearly.
@RoadKill - Woh puraana article hain. Handa Sir had set up his own coaching smewhre in Mumbai I guess more than a year back. πŸ˜› :P

Wohi doubt hai jo RoadKill ka hai.. Anyways, kya main ye sahi kar raha hu , dekho:

CP of wines be x, y

First mixture :
CP = 2x+ y
SP = 1.2*(2x+y)

Second mixture:
CP = x +2y
SP = 1.1*(x+y)

Profit earlier on first wine = (3.5x - 3x) /3x = 1/6 , New profit = 1/6(1+5/3) = 4/9 ?
Profit earlier on second wine = (3.4y - 3y)/3y = 2/15 , New profit = 2/15*(7/3) = 14/15 ?

Profit on 1:1 mixture = 4x/9 + 14y/15 / [ x + y ] = ??

SP of 1:1 mixture = 13x/9 + 59y/45 -> 1/45(65x + 59y) ..

Something is terribly wrong !

Range main 1 kaise use aayega ? :O
f(x) = 2x

f(x) kabhi 1,3,5 toh hoga hi nahin na when x can be natural number only ?
@Estallar12 x = 0.5 aayega na when domain is "all Real numbers". I am saying if we have a mapping of R->R, then f(x) = 2x is bijective.

x belongs to Real le lo .. ! Co-domain bhi Real.. Graph ke point of view se dekho.. Graph ko todo mat bich bich me.. Agar natural number lena hai .. to co-domain will contain only even integers..

Haan. N --> N nahi hoga na. :splat:
Wahi Bola. Thanks! :)
