Statistics:

Are u guys sure that the factor of multiplication is 1/N and not 1/N-1. ??

I remember it as 1/N-1.

Cross checked using wolfram for the data set {2,3,4,4,5,6}

its giving 10/5 not 10/6.

Just see if I am missing sumthing.

I can be both 1/N and 1/(N-1).. N when we talk of a simple data set.. (N-1) when talk of a sample of a big data set, though I am not sure what does that mean, may be others can throw some light on it... In our case, I didn't find the reason to do a (N-1) .. so I wrote N..

It's 1/N the N-1 is for different not cat related stuff which I don't understand :p
