I STRONGLY second this! First of all, I respect your views 'Estella Behan'! but quoting my opinion.. I think you never know what is best for you.. So we can give our best to get what we wanted at a point of time.. but we should never drool over that and spoil other opportunities that come our way! And I guess, You know the major part of this very well!
Second, Whatever it is .. it is personal.. I know, but still I would say.. peer pressure is not the thing which effects me.. or shud effect anyone else as a matter of fact! Apna karo.. apna bharo! Until and unless, very close frnds.. koi kaam nhi aata! Rarely achhe log milte hai.. and jo frnd nhi hota .. so there is no point thinking abt them.. or thinking what they wud think!! BLAH BLAH! BLAH!
P.S. - Aur agar koi bandi ka chakkar hai.. to bach lo jitni jaldi ho ske! Its nothing less then a catatrophe! (Personal views, not to be seriously misunderstood :P)
