IMPORTANT FOR CAT
There is an infinite length list of what one should do in-order to score high marks in CAT. But, it is also necessary to know about things WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO.!!
  1. As you know, CAT is one of the toughest and most uncertain exams when it comes to scaling and percentile system. Hence, you should not keep your hopes high. Even if you are prepared and confident than too we will suggest you that you should keep your morale low. The fact is you are not as good as others.
  2. Never contact a friend who already gave/screwed their CAT. Friends are always there to give useless information and unnecessarily try to pseudo-boost you. Beware..!!
  3. Before going to your test room, drink plenty of water as you won €™t be allowed to leave your room. There can also be aftermath of this action. Please take necessary measures.
  4. This year IIMs have introduced new techniques to make CAT tougher from previous versions. Apart from questions, there are elements which will test your performance in diverse noisy condition. Bring ear muffs to close your ears from constant disturbances by invigilators. As a disturbance, you can also here famous Hindi item numbers as a mobile ringtone of invigilators.
  5. In order to tackle point 4, we suggest you that you should practice in such environments. Take sample CAT test sitting in local city bus. This will surely help you..!
  6. ID Cards: you should bring as many ID cards as possible. Also, bring some witnesses, a lawyer and various certificates such as DNA proofs, affidavit, and your radio carbon dating number in order to prove your authentication. CAT wants legitimate candidates.
  7. CAT centre is the safest place on EARTH. If you bought expensive jewelry or similar valuable items then it is better to bring them with you rather than keeping it in a bank or other lockers. CAT is the best place to keep it for the time being. Use the advantage.
  8. If possible bring lots of chewing gum with you. Prometric always have this problem of system breakdown or server failure. You can mend your broken system or an advantage: stick used gums on instruments (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc) to make things tough for future candidates. Their loss is your profit. Simple business, after all you are applying for MBA.
  9. The last and most useless tip. If possible, try to bribe the organizers to let you do whatever you want. Don €™t be a stingy penny-pinching scrooge, try to spend money. After all it is an investment.

If these tips are used intelligently then surely we guarantee you that you will COME OUT with FLYING colors. All the very best for your CAT!!! Chao.!!
