Sorry, didn't see the tag before.
I am not great at section 1 myself, but I'm working hard on it and I guess it's showing some signs of improvement so you could do what I do and give it a fair shot.
Categorize all errors into, silly mistakes, methodical mistakes, conceptual/practice related mistakes..
For the first type, you just need to take the paper more carefully, because those include mistakes you've made because you were being lazy or in a hurry or just careless in general. Mistakes made despite knowing the concepts and the approach. These mistakes can also be avoided by changing the order in which you attempt questions , DI first, QA next, QA first, DI next. Basically whatever makes you less anxious and more comfortable.
Second type is where you know the concept but you don't approach the problem in the right direction. This can be because you haven't had enough exposure to the various kinds of questions that are asked from a particular topic. So look for variety.
Third type is where you are conceptually weak, or haven't practiced enough which slows you down and induces errors. For this you must study your concepts in depth and get in some practice..For every mock categorize your weaknesses like this, along with topic-wise categorization, so you know exactly where how much effort is needed.
This is all I have on section 1, you could ask @Estallar bhai, he's the boss at all this. :) Hope this helps.
