Got a job rejection today after clearing the initial round.. 😞
Told them I wanted to pursue MBA afterwards.. wen they asked... so much for being honest wen they had themselves said that please answer this question honestly 😐 :|

Comeon you cannot be that honest while giving interview for a Job.
I had an interview of Aditya Birla Group. The Technical Guy asked me thrice :
Technical Field, Robotics or MBA ?
I replied Technical all the three times but the fact is mera order is -- Robotics > MBA > Technical hai. :P
You cannot tell them that MBA karna hai ya kuch aur. Obviously woh reject kar dete hain phir yaar.

Why would you pursue MBA if you have a nice job? Would you?

yeah... pata lag gaya ab.. 😐 😐 these ppl.. why cant they be honest.. and the HR grilled me for 10 mins.. supposedly the longest of all interviews.. asked so many things and in the end wen i told them about MBA.. she was so eager on the time frame... kab karna hai.. kyu karna hai.. then y this job and not MBA directly.. blah blah 😞 :(

kuch nhi hota paridhi... dnt wrry ..... i still remember my frst job interview in colg... 5 round nikalne ke baad, final HR round jo gnrly namesake ke liye hee hota fr discusng thng like, whn u r joining etc... uss round mai thy rejectd me, coz of tis MBA thng { HR ne poocha tha Cat diya tha?? maine bhi khushi khusi haan bol diya aur.. tao mai aake apna %ile bhi bata diya, aftr knwng my CAT %ile, woh yeh maanane ko tayaar hee nhi thee tat, i wnt give anothr shot on CAT in near future...)
SO fir maine ek cheez seekhi... kabhi MBA ke baare sach mat bolo... uske baad nxt interview mai i pretended mujhe CAT ke baare kuch pata hee nhi hai.... told thm mujhe karna bhi nhi hai.... n thn I gt an OFFER Letter ....

I had the interview for Tata Power for about 30-35 minutes. HR and Technical combined. And I also replied the way you did.
"Yes Sir, I wish to do MBA at a later stage to improve my performance and serve your Industry in a better way" - He said : "Serve our industry or leave us" ?
I was like : (Chodunga kyun when mujhe sirf Tata Power main hi kaam karne ka mann hai). I said " No Sir, If the company would allow me to do MBA via their links/tie-ups, I will do that." Phir woh shuru ho gaya blah-blah and result main waiting main daal ke rakha hai aaj tak. Been 2 months.
Maine wahan sach sirf isliye bola because Electrical ki Core main mujhe sirf Tata Power main jaane ka mann tha. But :|
