@abhimukh19 Yeah, I know. But I won't be in i-banking, that I know. I-banking is 24x7x365 of that crap. Will try and shift to a finance role in a (non-financial services) company instead. At least avg workday 12 hours se thoda kam ho aur weekends off mil jaaye! 😞 I can live with the lower pay.

Saki Naka Junction......\m/.....Main apna PS2 ka presntation dene Mahakali Caves aa raha tha jahan pe BITS ka office hain aur iss area main itna time waste hua ki mujhe Chakala se pehle utar ke chalke jaana padha us jagah tak.....Woh bhi formals main 30 min chala....Paseene se poora dress barbaad ho gaya 😞

@fisherking CS waale generally tech roles mein jaate hai. Apne yahaan bhi aayi thi, loserlike CS waale hi bache the by the time Credit Suisse came. Kismat chamak gayi un logon ki. CS deptt hi aisa demand waala hai ki even the losers (6 pointers) are better off than 7 pointers elsewhere. Core finance waale kaam mein to CS ka backoffice aaya tha, good 9 lpa+bonus salary thi a year back. Uske liye lekin finance funda chahiye tha, degree se koi lena dena nahi.

Sabko yahi lagta hai ki naam k saath B.Tech nahi rahega isliye IS nahin lete ...but after 4 years when they see C6 people getting handsome jobs .... ----->>

Haha.. Mere college mein log Btech ke chakkar mein Agriculture waala degree utha lete the. They discovered that during placements, 95% of the companies have this disclaimer: "Open to all courses except Agri."

Aap bhi BITS se??Kaunsa branch??Aur aapka statement dekh ke lagta hain aap ne bhi aise katwaya hain.Mere score pe saala IS Pilani bhi milta.Now imagine how awesome that would have been. :(
