Just for Fun
If both the roots of the quadratic equation ax^2+b^x+c=0 lie in the interval (0,3) then a lies in
a) (1,3)
b) (-1,-3)
c) (- root(121)/91,- root(8) )
d) (-1,3)
Can anyone please explain ?
PS: Don't have the OA.

best way of doing this is by assuming any root...lets say both the roots are equal to 1..
the equation is...x^2 - 2x +1 = 0
so a = 1
only in d does this lie...
so answer is D...
