depends on what phone it is (if GPS is there or not). otherwise the area can be determined by carriers using triangulation but they will reveal it only to the police. if it is iphone then there is an app to find out the location provided gps is enabled. don't know about android mobiles.

Service providers can detect the location of the phone , last instance it was switched on.. or the last call which was received or made ... but you need police help on that too

Thats why i said you need police help on that , they wont reveal unless police asks them too..

Yeah seems all we can do is wait for police action. I personally hate it. We citizens should be entitled to all this information given the state of our delhi police..

You can also help but i am sure you would have tried it , Try and call the girl''s friend and specially the ones close to her , ask them where she went or if she said anything or what was her on mind .. I am sure someone would know ..
