N one thing....dont expect anythng....last yr my best friend had his ppr on the 1st day....he had quite a tuf QADI section.....only attempted 19.....uske baad jo pprs aaye wo toh aap jante hi hoga.....even 22-23 correct ones were not able to fetch 99. So go without any preconceived notions.....Rcs mei toh esp.....comfort area pe bahut depend krta hai.....i mn agar aise topic se aa gaya jo ki aapne kabhi padha nhi toh wo kitna bi easy ho hard hi lagega....aur agar familiar topic se aa gaya....thn u may find a tuf one easy....so its very subjective....:)

from what i have heard...first day lengthy the passages but questions were straight and fact based...ab logon ke apne perception hote hain to kya hi tension leni...waise hi aap sab tarah ke RC ki lelete ho :P

Yes I know, no pre-conceived notions should be formed, expect and be prepared for the worst . Thats what I follow ...one thing about RC, being familar does help a lot, but you never know what inference the question maker is looking for, and what if we mark the prejudiced option just coz we are familar with it, happened with me in one Q in last CLmock, steven pinker's article, i had read it longggg before and was happy to see it as a passage.

Saale RCs ne lel li hain meri ab mere pehle 8/9 correct aate the 10 main se aur abhi 6/7 aa rahe hain correct...Pata nahi chal raha kaha pe mistake ho raha hain....Tu toh rehne hi de 150 maarke meri le raha hain...Maine toh 150 kabhi MC main maara hi nahi CL waale are very short...Hadd se zyada short lagte hain...Aur TIME waale toh Mahabharat poori bata dete hain including Krishna ki poori life history.....Kaafi antar hota hain in dono RCs main.....Aap bolo padhne me bada tha yeh chhota??Approx kitne words ka raha hoga??

Hey ,CL lengths are usually moderate, but TIME gives mixed, some really short and some really long, they follow extremes always :|
And as per my experience, CAT followed the longer extreme :(

Hmm...Ok Madam.....I have always felt that CL was a bit on the shorter side......And TIME on the longer side.....If the passage is long but questions are straight forward then I will have no problem with my CAT RCs.When is ur CAT??I can understand the feeling of restlessness.....But I kinda control it by trying to remind myself that I want to put my best foot forward and not fritter away this opportunity. 😃

You can take a little break anyways...Since its such a long time to ur C day,u can afford to take a break and come back fresher and hungrier.....That is why I chose a middle slot not too early in the window and not so late that ur restless by the time it comes around....Anyways All the Best to u......May we be partners in crime for murdering the CAT this year :P

Yes! I had to choose between beginning and end slots for some reasons, so I chose the latter :)
