It is often said that computerization results in un

employment. Do you agree? Explain.

Please suggest mistakes made by me. -  wrote it in 20 minutes

Computerization being one of the reasons for unemployment is a well debated topic in the present decade. With the levels of technological advancement reaching to a level of robotics from the level of a normal computer, the debate is still valid in the recent times.

It is true that computerization has evidently resulted in loss of jobs in many sectors. Many jobs which required manual labour has been eliminated. Take the case of banks, it is even predicted that in the coming decade, the brick and mortar model of banking will die a slow death and the branch network of the banks as we know now, will be reduced to consultancy centers where advices are given to the customers and sales are targeted. The same has occurred in the case of IT industry where mechanical work is still being eliminated by sophisticated computer programs. Hence, it is indeed true that computerization has resulted in loss of job opportunities.

While unemployment has risen in some areas, the employment opportunities have risen in many other avenues. The avenues of robotics, block chains etc. are some of the areas where new job opportunities have come up. It is upto the present generation to adapt to this new changing job environment rather than cringe about the fact that computerization has resulted in unemployment. Also, the jobs which require a certain level of deduction and human thinking capability has been immune to this effect of computerization.

While we all agree to the side of computerization that it has indeed resulted in loss of jobs, we also need to acknowledge the fact that our life has become lot more easy because of that. Technology is a necessary evil, and there is no looking back on that. It is essential that we need to adapt to the changing technological environment and stay ahead of the competition to make ourselves in the employed category.

Can someone list the important essay topics to be prepared? TIA
