i have bifocal power in my right eye. the near distant vision is not 6/6 even with specs. i m not eligible for visually impaired quota as my better eye is 6/6 . is there a chance of rejection in ME?

"I asked our Medical Officer about the highest eye power allowed and she said that it's -8. In case it's beyond that, the person would require a surgery and then another medical fitness certificate and the power then should be within -8. She also said that many people do this procedure, so it's not that big a deal."

there is a line in letter Please note that no expenses will be reimbursed in this regard and the fee for medical examination has to be borne by you. Please also carry with you valid proof of your identity viz. PAN Card, passport, college identity card, your photograph and signatures duly attested by Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College last attended with rubber seal, name and designation etc.
Can anyone confirm if they are asking for an attested photocopy of a Pan card,attested by an officer
