Accusing ppl with good gdpi marks that tey had got it through backdoor entry is lame..this is the reason why sbi had 4-5 members interview panel...just don blame for the sake of blaming..i myself got 31 i expected atleast 40..u can expect watever u want but its upto sbi wat to give..i saw someone posting tat selected members are behaving like representatives of sbi..thr are also many candidates wo had not got thru but still are not blaming the process bcz tey know that ppl getting good gdpi marks dont need a backdoor entry to do so
is there any way to delay joining date by 1 month???

If we didn't submit any document before the interview verification will it effect to the final selection. Bcoz they asked me to submit within 1week but i could not submit it. Dis is just a doubt pls tell me it is my first interview.

Will SBI implement 11th bps? SBI and PNB are said to favour performance related pay.
Dekho bhaiyon, interview is all about knowing your audience and directing it accordingly. 30/30 questions based nahi aata. You just have to convince the panel they can't let go of you. 30/30 doesn't show perfection. It only shows you are exactly as they want you to be. Polite to main tha lekin I have a RBF(Resting Bitch Face). I even smirked(by mistake) at ma'm when she said she would cut my marks. There's no formula for interview. It's just clicking with the panel. It always has, always will be. People who got less marks in interview might be too good but they are either poor salesman or the panel were ass-holes but its hard to believe all 5 of them would be like that. Interview marks are allotted unanimously, not by an individual shithead. My suggestion: Sell yourselves better next time. All the best, amigos.

So here are the contentions of the PIL Brigade
1. Why SBI tweeked the rule and no sectional cut off this time.
2. Why 0 in DI got selected over others who couldn't even clear the overall cut off instead of scoring well in DI
3. Backdoor entry, partial, unjust, corrupt board deprived the "real deserving"
1. Guys cant you understand sectional cut off is still there. Its just SBI didn't disclose it this time and its their prerogative only. they are not at all bound to disclose it. And whatever you are blaming about tweeking, it was applicable for all of us, we all started from the same point. It just you couldn't make it this time. Tough luck. But this is the harsh reality. The quicker you realize, the quicker you will get some better job in near future like upcoming RBI
2. I myself have seen only one marksheet with 0, that too in PG itself (so authenticity is in question) and the candidate is from OBC Category.. You have to understand that this selection is done by computer system and you too used to believe it as most fair and transperant till few days back also. This guy must have done better than the others, others may have got in negative. ANd its really commendable, inspite of scoring nil, he cleared overall which is itself an achievement if we keep in mind this years difficulty level
AND Suppose DI ka cut off 10 hota. Candidate A DI me 40 la ke bhi overall clear nehi kar paya whereas Candidate B ne 11 lake bhi overall nikal gaya. Would you still complain? The guy tackled his flaws, his drawbacks superbly by scoring well in all other sections.
3. Do you have any proof at all regarding corruption, partiality, back door entry? Remember mere giving correct answer and getting "well done, bahut acche beta" comment from board does not mean you did well in interview. Perception varies even between two identical person. 7 different board members from different circles, democratically choosen, throughout india made corruption...kuch zyada ho gaya na? all 2200 candidate backdoor entry, aap khud dil se biswas karte ho kya ye logic
Like all of you in previous years I also missed those final cut offs by 1-2 marks. Even last year i missed ibps po by just .25 in reasoning...But let us accept the reality and keep on hunting...success zaroor ayenge

Really, Happy after getting SBI PO after 2year long preparation. It was difficult with my 8-10 hour long office . I had 2 year experience of TCS and also got a very good offer from infi with about 100% hike. But, I decided to leave the job n the offer both to convert my long preparation to convert into seat this time from by 5th of April. Did each n every thing with complete planning and try to implement with the best effort. In this period, suffer a lot, because nobody, even my best mate left any chance to criticize my decision of leaving IT. I am completely isolated from office mates/ night out/ movie/ weekend party/office party/FB/WhatsApp etc. (since , I am a very average girl in study, it is difficult to crack for me without all mentioned above). Now, I am in with a margin of 6 marks in gen category. From the time of joining PG , I was a silent observer with a wish to post my success story that may motivate all IT Engineers, who want to come out and get a govt job. But , SBI result came in some new form and so many get very low marks in pi( even I got only 14). They had some doubt about the process. Concerns were genuine, discussion started but very soon , it is converted into a war. I was really affraid to be part of this celebration or discussion. So, pls all selected guys, understand their emotions and their concern. ( Even my roomie is out by just 0.65 marks). So, pls be humble, bcoz , if just 2 day of success makes arrogant, then what about our future. N all people, who are not in the list, never forget, u are in top 5000 , it is enough to display ur talent, just one good day will bring u in front foot, so be happy and take any action whatever u people want against the org, if u people have any doubt, but pls don't do any personal comment. Just had courage to write these with a good intention and to thank PG in my prep, but still sorry , if my words hurt anyone .
I condemn targeting a single who scored 0 in DI. But my target is the selection procedure. If it had been the way it used to be I would have been also successful and made my parents glad as u people have done. Dissapointment is obviously there but i can not lose hope. What I meant to say is that the basic concept of sectional timing is that banks want people who are good in all the 4 sections. They dont need a great mathematician nor a english lecturer neither a gk or reasoning expert. Rather they want someone who is allrounder. Someone who is not best at individually any section but good at all the 4 sections. And this time they seem to have violated their own mechanism. And so I m raising my voice and challenging it.
How much hike will we have after 11th bipartite settlement??

Hello Everyone, I just saw all the posts here regarding SBI PO 2017 and felt little disappointed. Even I haven't been selected though I got decent marks in GDPI but failed to score quite high in mains and hence, out of the race. I was disappointed with my performance but I was more disappointed to see people making a lot of noise about the DI cutoff. Let me make it clear that SBI had clearely mentioned that we need to score the qualifying marks in each section but it never said that the marks will be greater than 0. On a different note, I downloaded the marks card of one of the candidates who got 0 marks in DI and was shocked to see that he got 23 in DI in prelims, with an overall score of 61. I am sure this is more than many of us here and in fact, this proves that he is more deserving than any of us. Now, the question is why I'm taking his side, if I'm his girl friend or sister, the answer is NO. I was in the same room that he was for the GDPI in LHO, Bangalore and the way he spoke was phenomenal. I've attended so many interviews but have never seen a candidate speaking so nice and hence, I personally feel that he should be in for sure. Another point, he may have got a zero (0) in DI but he was brilliant enough to have score more in other sections to compensate for even a zero and make it to the GDPI. Don't you think, we should be asking him for strategies rather than criticising him. PS: This is my personal view and would appreciate only genuine responses!
