Getting above 40 marks in GDP I is all about luck of having lenient panel.
Ideally wid 0 or negative marks one should not clear the mains exam
i have sympathy wid those candidates having gud marks in objective but couldnt clear the exam bcoz of apathetic panel in gdpi
Friends, First of all congratulations for all those who have cleared SBI Po and made into the final list. This is the moment for you to sit back and relax for all those hard days where you worked hard enough.

I know two people who got 30/30 in interview common things among them was panel and age.
In the whole 45 Mins my friend scored 0 in DI and he is selected. Point is don't even prepare for DI ever. 45 min me ek ya do set toh kar hi loge agle saal. GA is make or break. Bas Banking ratto and you are in. At least now I know the technique. Hats off to those who remain seated in a whole section, did nothing but made it through. GK kaise karu, iska hint dedo _/\_
I scored 17 in DI and 15.5 in GK but failed to qualify by 0.39 marks. 14/30 in a decent PI. Gussa toh obvious h par aage ki guidance de do. I have seen people with >30 in GK. Static bhi karte ho kya?
Also, importance of english is very low too. Most of the guys made it through just with LR and GK and scoring in single digits in DI and ENG. Now I will prepare in accordance to the 2017 pattern only as any aspirant should do.
Modi Ji, SSC toh aapke full control me h toh PI hata diya. SBI ke bhi toh major stakeholder aap hi ho? Kab hataoge ? Uske jagah pe written offline aur GD kar do plz. At least transparency toh badhegi.
i just dont understand how people in sbi give marks in gdpi..i mean in just 5 mins they judge the whole individuals effort..this is disgusting i have seen people in this very thread getting 30/30 in interview and some even getting 6 to 10 no matter what they got in descriptive and objective...getting 30/30 i mean it seriously means that the candidate is either einstein or has no flaws in himself/herself..the selction procedure of sbi is totally bullshit where all the years effort is fckd up in a paper which decides one to get 0 in di and even get selected i am not criticizing those individual who got 0 in di and got selected its just this selection procedure of sbi which is shit..first of all the weightage of gdpi is so much that even the best efforts of aspirants in mains can go in vain if the panels decides to fck them up..imagine someone getting 100 in mains which is equal to 30 out if 75 which is excellent considering the level of paper and getting 20 to to 25 in gdpi to get bloody fckd up. the reverse side if one gets 45 to 48 /50 the competion ends at that point itself and on what grounds they judge candidate is horrible.i personally feel in gdpi the panel has nothing to do with questions and answers they just give marks whom they like its just like as boys flirt with the girls i feel in the similar fashion the panels flirt with candidates whom they are attracted to.i answered all the question in pi and gd was good but i managed to get only 23/50 needed just 2.5 more to qualify..i seriously needed this job and this is what sbi has done to my efforts..its painful not to get selected but its even more painful when u know that you deserved it. i am not here to blame those who are selected here congratulations to them but somewhere down the line all of u whether selected or rejected know it deep inside your heart that what i am saying is true..and sbi is such a shit organisation that they dont even create waiting list in case seats remain vaccant just to make more money out by recruitment..
I was angry with the whole selection process till yesterday and perhaps the selection process is a bit flawed. But after seeing the comments of people bringing quota and caste into this issue to hide their own weakness, I've realized that I can not afford to be that pathetic. It's called competition for a reason. When you start blaming other candidates for your failure, you immediately loose the competition without even competing in it. To all those who could not make it this time, please do not stoop to the level of bringing in quota, caste or any other pathetic excuse. You worked hard, so work harder for the next time and ace it. Abhi 2-3 months pahile kisine upsc pe case Kiya tha.... question paper achha nhi tha isliye....MATLAB mcq's were subjective kinda based on ur interpretation...and has 2 answers .....upsc is conducting mains now....and PIL.....I think already in dustbin...ab SBI pe case....

Jinlog ka sbi main hua hai ye time pe unlog pls ek baar organization main jane ke baad ye pata jaroor karo ki interview main marks kaise diya jata hai. Mujhe lagta hai jo log ka academics achha hai unhe achha marks milta hai ya fir jo already kisi bank main kaam kar rahe hai unhe achha marks milta hai. Please ek baar pata lagane ka try karo.
I think this time there's very less No. Of selection from Kolkata region. they have given very less Marks in GE PI... No uniformity among different regions.
i have been given 11/20 in GD and 20/30 interview. Should they have given me more around 40 OR put sectional cut offs, I could have easily got my 1st preference which is Chandigarh. Now thrown to Bhopal(my 5th prefernce). This is really disappointing.
Quite ambigous process. Even people with -ve in DI are given 0 and secondly no sectional cut off and they are accomodated by giving high in interview. SAD.
Anybody who is currently working has resigned from their job after selection? If not when are you planning to ?
