SBI thread se alvida frnds. I couldn't get selected. Was using PG from my original id.. now, back to my different avtar. Though I am already a PO but had high hopes on SBI..that ended today. My next target is of secret mission..till then keep motivating each other. No failures should deter you. You are stronger than anything and promise that you will keep fighting till you achieve your dreams. Bye bye- tata.
Guys fight hard for waiting list. 150 candidates wont join and arnd 500 will leave by end of yr due to various reasons. Why shud these go waste. Let SBI release contingency 1 by dec to fill those who arent joining and contingency 2 in april for those who leave the job.NOTE: I am not saying this for myself. I wudnt have gone anyway. But I am a beneficiary of contingency list. everyone who deserves should get a job through contingency list.
I think my relationship with SBI is to be restricted within a savings Bank account. 😐😐
Looks like RBI too will have to conduct prelims again😅....going by people's logic.... After all how can an organization like RBI keep such low cutoff for DI🙈
i missed the sbi cutoff by 0.8 marks.. feeling sad.. but still i know i have much to achieve...it's never so easy to achieve something BIG...

the interview conundrum.. after giving more than 14 interviews since 2015(3 IBPS,7 IIMs, 3 IT sector,1 SBI), here is my gyaan to all the candidates- 1.The number of questions answered don't necessarily reflect your marks.. you may have answered a dozen questions in a row but a single wrong answer might tick the panel off. 2.showing off your knowledge isn't always right..in one of my IBPS interview,I had used and even explained terms like LIBOR,T bills,Fed reserves, money market,ETF..how much did I score ? just 50%.. 3.they smell your ego.. for those NIT,IIT guys with the sense of superiority.that ordinary BA pass guy is not at a disadvantage against you.. those serious UPSC candidates,they can sense it. 4."but I answered so many static GK questions"-unfortunately, the panel was simply not interested and so,they asked such mundane questions.. remember,they have already tested your GK and are here to judge your personality..I was asked about the importance of 11 Sep & I talked about Swami Vivekananda's speech in Chicago (obviously also mentioned twin towers attack).. unless you got something interesting,static GK will doom you 5.directing the interview-its hard but not impossible..they started with Inflation,then GDP,GNP, FDI,FII , types of Inflation, Current account deficit, Fiscal deficit, balance of payment, trade surplus-more than 10 questions, which are all inter-related. after my LIBOR fiasco in IBPS, I made sure not to use any jargon bullshit and explained in the most simplest terms ever possible.. didn't speak even an extra word to show off any fancy terms I knew.. I don't claim to be some interview expert..got just 25/30 but given it was Delhi lho where several have got just 9/14/10, thought it would be better to share my experience.. whether you like it or not , Interviews are never set on objective parameters

Those wo r selected just celebrate...no p.i.l is going to stop u by any means! Some ppl think tat tey have only worked hard and oters have no right to celebrate bcz of getting 0 in d.i...will u file a p.i.l for prelims if u get more marks and clr cut off bcz of normalization?

Got 75.75 in Objective and 25 in Descriptive. I have completed my 10th and 12th from a school which is affiliated to CBSE board. We had been taught in schools to strictly follow the word limit in board examinations. Did the same in SBI and got this figure "25". Content was good. Format was correct. I had also created a heading for the essay. I had even concluded the essay and had used satisfactory closure for the letter. And the most important thing was that I had strictly followed the word limit. Met some of the people who had breached the word limit by very large margin( 100 words , 150 words , etc. ) , and they got marks like 35 , 36 , etc. What the hell? Kyu likha tha fir question me "in not more than 150 words" ??? Kya semester ka exam chal rha tha kya ki bs page bharne hai? I had not expected this from SBI. Koi standard procedure nahi hai. Interview Delhi LHO me tha Panel 2. Mere ek dost ko to fail hi kr dia unhone. Seriously??? Fail to bhot hi dire situations me krte hai. He had performed well in the Interview. And the "No sectional cut off" ?? Did you guys observe your scorecard properly? Usme likha hai "Descriptive Test ( Evaluated only for those candidates who have qualified in each level of the Objective Test at Sr. No 1 to 5 ) " . Pathetic. SBI didnt even change the format of scorecard. When there is not sectional cut off then this line is not required. The "0' figure in DI or any other section and shortlisting these roll numbers for Interview Call is not acceptable to me. I know SBI agr sectional cut off rakhta to unhe 1:3 ke ratio me candidates nhi milte Interview ke liye. But does it matter?? SBI had called the candidates in 1:2 ratio previous year. Chahe sirf 2200 hi shortlist hote next stage ke liye sectional cut off rakhne par but at least ye just aur fair to hota. I am not selected. And I wont appear for SBI exam again. No more a reputed organisation for me.
guys getting frustrated over hardwork of the others. respect the hardwork . dont get frustrated. please do not undermine our success and hardwork. and i think people in SBI have better idea than you guys. show some respect guys

never lose hope guys. dusre ke success ko undermine karne se acha khud ko rectify karke hard work karna hota hai. apke undermine karne se uska job thodi chala jaega. he may have got 0 in Di but in interview or descriptive he may have been far better than you. i mysel got 44/50 in GEPI. dont undermine our hard work friends.
