I remember I studied for 4-5 months daily 12-15 hours before SBI po 2016 and scored 72 in Pre but being unaware about mains pattern I failed, that too terribly in mains. I was devastated but one thing I knew that this hardwork won't go waste since then I never prepared anymore just went on to attempt exams. Got RRB po job Cleared nicl , ippb etc had +10 marks more than cutoff in RBI asst but attempted less in English but destiny has brought me where I wanted to be for what I did all this. Finally SBI PO :)

Congratulations to all those who got selected.
Failed in a exam after a long time, almost 11 months, last one being RBI 16 prelims. It's always nice to have something which will keep you grounded. Maybe, my mains marks were low or maybe the panel thought that I am not the right person. Whatever it is, time to move forward. Failed in my 2nd attempt and maybe my last in any po exam.
Congrats to all selected. It is not at all a bad organization and po job is not that hectic if you are able to manage. :)

One confused situation:
I am working in Qualcomm as a design engineer with a monthly in hand salary of 1lakh approx with3.8 years of experience. Job timings are strictly 9-6. Sometimes little here and there.
I have got Bengaluru circle and my hometown is Punjab
I have cleared Ssc2016 and allocated accountant in cga 35000/ salary total.
I am interested in financial sector and that s the reason i have only given sbi po.
I have cleared po earlier also but didn't went.
My father who is a manager in psb is strictly against joining bank.
What would have been your decision?
