We may be hesitant to accept it, but the truth is this... Our PSBs are in this bad condition only because they are Public sector entities.. Here people have no sense of ownership.. Owner is Government and it is a vague thing, not a single person.. And CEOs and MDs, are directly placed at that position by the Govt. for a short term.. so even they dont develop such a sense of ownership.. And from EDs upto Managers, they are mostly like typical sarkari babus.. Concerned only with their safety, their target achievement, their salaries, their promotions etc.. so the whole structure is loosely arranged. Disclaimer- Sorry for such a discouraging post, the author himself is frustrated and the article is result of his frustration. The moment results are announced and if the author is selected, his mood may revert and he may write an article all in praise of PSBs.
Some of us are going to become SBI POs.After seeing this culture of lack of empathy in SBI,we should pledge to be responsible towards customers we serve, unlike this umempathetic old fools who feel that they are immune to costumers' difficulties and their wrath
