Considering the level of difficulty of mains, 60/200 is a decent score. If you get 30/50 in desc, you still need 33.5/50 in gdpi, which is not a cakewalk.
And if you think that you are going to score more than 60 in objective paper, then perhaps you need to look at the bigger picture; not everyone is a genius like you!

Hii friends, In my descriptive test for sbi po,I have not read that it is mentioned 150 words for essay writing and have written 270 words,will it reduce any marks for essay??

Since I don't have anything better to do I was wondering about cutoff for general (again), and was wondering if the cutoff might really go as low as 43.75 as being predicted by few people.
And I realized that it might go that low ( although I don't agree with the cutoff I think it can be around it).
Why I think so?
Because I checked last year's OBC cutoff ,87.25, (coz they are closest to general in cutoff comparison) and their cutoff was only 2.75 less than general,90.00, out of 250. And their final cutoff was 44.43/100. (Also remember that they had cutoff of 60/200 , 20/50 for discriptive but 87.25/250 not 80/250).
So the last selected OBC candidate got 26.175/75 and only needed 18.255/25 or 36.51/50 in GD-PI. But since 1791 OBC candidates were called for GD-PI (including PH) and only 687 made it to the final list (including 97 who were selected under general category).
So we can say that it is not easy to score 36+ in GD-PI. Or else many more would have been selected in general category if it was that easy to score in GD-PI.
One may argue that general needed 45.5/50 in GD-PI and 916 general category students got selected out of 2543 candidates called for interview.
To them I want to say that chunk of candidates in general category must have scored very near to cutoff and most of those who made to final list must have scored at least 15-20 marks more than cutoff i.e. 105-110/250.
(Below assumptions are made on my personal experience from last year and this year. I qualified mains last year but could not score in GD-PI so could not make it to final list).
This year paper was definitely much more difficult than last year. Quants was way more difficult than last year. English much more lengthy than last year. Reasoning was also slightly more difficult than last year, although it can be because of new types of questions. And GA is a subjective thing so it can be taken as same as last year.
So in my opinion an average candidate will score around , when compared to last year....
10 marks less in DI,
5 marks less in Eng,
2-3 marks less in Reasoning,
And
almost same in GA.
So the fall in cutoff should be around 15-18 marks less than last year making it 52-55/200.
Then 72-75/250. And this should translate to 21.6-22.5/75.
And since more people are called for interview then for last candidate to be selected it might go as high as 23/25 which will lead to final cutoff being 44.6-45.5/100.
