Are the serial of interviews and stuff really based on marks? I was the last candidate in my batch, on the last day of interviews in LHO Kolkata. After me, there were 7 others in Batch 2 and that was it, the process for Kolkata was done.
Are yaar, that means mera toh hoh gaya kaam. I am the lowest scorer in my batch and about 8th lowest overall in the state. :( God damn. No chances I guess.

Hello Puys ! Adding another query to a list of already very gruelling list of queries : Does SBI have state-wise vacancies which are finally consolidated at the CPRD level ? That is to say that the interview board just sends the names of final candidates to be selected or a complete list of all 4700+ candidates are prepared and then again cut-off wise candidates are selected ?
With a meagre 95 attempts wid decent accuracy n Good descrptive + Good GD n Very Good PI
I know i will not be able to make it but still..........Lazy Dreams of becoming a SBI PO :/

Guys keep counting the days for final results..because you all have gone through perhaps toughest exam in banking history and are still alive, now only last hurdle remains. Some may go through but some may not. But clearing sbi po 2016 mains was not mean task..especially that English section. So pat Your back , be brave and be ready to face it.
bhai log this was my first sbi interview, i want to ask from the experienced people here, how many marks can i expect in my pi? it was not gud according to me, i couldnt answer a lot of questions, all were gk. but i maintained my composure, was calm and relaxed, even made them laugh at the end with my wittiness. anyone?

GUYS.... kya mil jayega tumhe doosron ke mu se yeh sunne mein ki "you r in dude!!!!"....... matlab gazab ka ch*****pa hai yar.... matlab koi dusra bas bol de to main jaake khana khaaun...... saala yahan 80 attempt general category mein karke bhi positive soch rahe hain.... par tum saalon itna negative soch rahe ho.... shayad tum bhul rahe ho ki half of the candidates will not be selected.... will it be THE END for them??? the answer is: NO..... jo hoga acche ke liye hoga.... aaj nahi to kal PO banenge hi.... main khud yahi soch ke baitha hu ki agar nahi hua to koi baat nahi... 3 oct ko pnb join krenge as a clerk.... then will give 200% effort in ibps PO......

This is my 1st post related to SBI Po 2016. Since everyone is giving his/her own analysis related to result let me bring ur attention to some points which everyone of us should take into consideration...1st of all we should thankful that we have cleared one of the toughest paper of this year and most difficult paper of SBI Po history and placed among top 4767 candidates of this country.....as far as analysis is concerned let me put some facts logically ..1st all of us know the no. Of questions attempted not the no. Of marks. so may be a person who attempted 100 questions may have attempted more marks then a person who attempted 110 qstns. Next because the result of main exam was published roll no. Wise no one knows how far he/she is from the cutoff. So may be a person who attempted highest no. Of questions hv just cleared the cut off bcoz I know people who attempted more then 100 questions but couldn't made it to selection list of gdpi. As far as accuracy is concerned no one will attempt a qstn to make it wrong. So no way we should believe on our own thinking of accuracy bcoz we better know the kind of pressure in which we attempted the exam. Now come to expected cutoff....last year it was 58.93 (i am talking about general candidate ..rest of all can calculate accordingly) .1st the difficulty level of this year paper was way beyond last year . So cut off is expected to fall atleast 2 marks out of 100 . (It's my personal view .it may differ from person to person). Next is the no. Of vacancy. It was 812 (for general) last year but this year it is 1028. So there is a gap of more then 200 vacancy which can affect the cutoff by 2 marks ( i think ).so final cutoff should not more then 54-55. Rest depends on the pdf file going to disclose on 30th of this month....I hope I hv made some valid points.. thanx in advance for having patience to read this post and all the best to all of u for 30th Sept.
