- Urban Centre - Bangalore , Gross 45000 /- , Inhand - 38,000 / - (In rural, around 1200-1300 lesser, as CCA - City Compensatory Allowance is lower for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities )
- EPF [ Employee Provident Fund ] and NPS [ New Pension Scheme ] deductions amount to around 6500 together, and another 200 for Professional Tax.
- Reimbursements ( Monthly ) - Newspaper - Rs 550
- Cleaning and Labour charges - Rs 1200 approx ( for this, you should have availed the Furniture allowance first )
- If you have a vehicle in your name, you ll get Petrol allowance of 55 litres if its a 2 wheeler and 65 litres if its a 4 wheeler, otherwise you will get walking allowance of Rs 1140 / -
- So you can get around 41-42 thousand in hand totally in 1 month in an Urban centre if you Dont have a vehicle and around 43-43.5 thousand in hand if you have a vehicle. In rural areas, around 2k lesser overall .
- Once in 3 months you can claim Entertainment Allowance, which is around 3000 Rs per quarter, if you are working in a Currency Chest Branch of SBI, you ll get entertainment allowance of close to 4 thousand.
- Besides this, you can apply for leased accommodation up to Rs 20,000 (In Bangalore thats the limit, dont know about rural side, in Semi Urban its around 12,000/- , rural not sure. In Mumbai it touches close to 29,000 !!! ) . So if you take this, then from your inhand of 38k, around 2500 will be deducted as you wont be getting the HRA (House Rent Allowance) which is 10% of basic component of salary. And please note that you wont be getting this money in hand, it will be credited to the account of your landlord.
