A large section of the other candidates might have now diverted their attention to the next 2 big exams- SSC CGL & IBPS PO. While both the exams test you on English, Quant & Reasoning, the syllabus & question types are vastly different. The table below shows a detailed difference between the topics covered.
The GK section (present in Tier 1 only for SSC) will largely be on static GK while IBPS PO exam has GK only in the second phase or Mains and will cover mostly current affairs. Here's a quick glance at the rest of the differences:-
Doubt-This may seem silly but i have no idea. In SBI mains since there will be questions that will be of 2 marks and there may be some which may be for 1 mark , How will we know which one is carrying more weightage? Will it be specified??

What is a safe score out of 200 in SBI PO Mains to confirm selection? What was the cutoff last year? And how much needs to be scored in descriptive paper? TIA.

How to prepare for section-3 ie. General/Economy/Banking Awareness of SBI PO main exam in just 2 weeks time...any concise resources for the same?
I was literally screwed last month after preparing religiously from BA Capsule and appearing for SBI JA Mains. GS Tornado didn't fare any better.
Considering the level of GA will remain the same, what are you fellow aspirants doing after the release of BA Capsule today?

Some advice from u guys Myslf cleared pre bt ws sick since d last week,so hvnt studied anything for mains........I cn stress my body to cover d syllabus for mains bt dat wuld weaken me further......... before SBI l had been preparng for cgl as wel........so what suld I do prepare for mains along with stresng my body or in a relax way focus on cgl+ibps........my parents are saying to focus on cgl+ibps bt iam not able to leave d prepratn..........plzz suggest what to do
