Guys i am completely confused by what i should do to improve my marks in these kind of exams. I missed clerical prelims by 0.25 marks. today, i could only attempt 45 questions whereas i could do 12-15 questions more but couldnt.

I guess i had only practiced with paper based test and thus inspite of continously scoring 55+ in mocks i couldnt attempt more than 45 questions in exam. Now i am completely confused on whether i should focus on increasing my speed or concept development (i think i need both).

Also, should i go for online coachings for sbi, ssc type exams or take classroom coaching from an institute. I saw many people recommending oliveboard and practicemock for mock tests. Are there any good online coaching providers.

Guys please help me on this as i am general category candidate and after this year wont get any more chances in ssc due to age limitation. I dont want to let that go as this one. I consistently scored 20+ in both english and reasoning in mocks but could hardly get to that much in quant. Sorry for the long post as i am not in a normal state of mind right now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sbi mai hone na hone ke darr se apni prep chod doge aap log , chahe private mai jao yeah phir prep continue rakho , karna toh padega LIFE MUST GO ON

Jo is competition ko dekh ke , exam ko , aur bhari candidates ki bheed ko dekh ke daar gaya , uske liye iss field mai success kam hi milegi , universal truth Accha perform na kar pane ki wajah aap khud hain , final selection bhi aap log mai se hi hoga , bajaye ulta seeda sochne ke apni kamiyon ko dur karne mai time lagao , kise ke kehne se ki aapka selection ho jayega aapke dil ko khusi milegi per sach aur reality aap ke sivay koi nahi jaan sakta .

At last more attempts doesnt gurantee your final selection and less attempts doesnt mean you out of the race , last year my friend with only 49 point something marks in prelims selected in sbi po Only because he believe in karma not in result.

Best of luck for your mains examination

This is a shout out to all the people who think that they have not done well in the exam.

One, it doesn't matter if you didn't fare good in one exam, there a number of exams which are lined up following this, and trust me, you will succeed, as long as you keep believing in yourself. Two, there's no substitute to hard work and perseverance and it is the latter that matters the most.

If somehow you're not able to clear the cutoff, do not look for excuses for your failure, rather keep this failure as souvenir for your future successes. And, it's not your success that will keep you going, but this failure will.   I know, that on 18th, when the result will be published on the SBI's Career Page, and your Page Monitors will beep, many of you will be looking for excuses, even before checking your result. Such is your belief in yourself. Some will blame the toughness of the paper, some will be blame the surprise change in pattern of Reasoning, and most of you will blame RESERVATION and QUOTA. Yes, you'll. And, let me tell you again, not to dishearten you or to discourage you, but if you have worked hard and are bit LUCKY, you'll succeed. Reservation is not the reason for your failure, reservation didn't force you to score less. You KNOW that you could've scored more, you KNOW what mistakes you did, and you KNOW that you didn't manage your time. You KNOW!

And, trust me, it's not the end, you'll fail again, but, you'll succeed. No, you're not old enough for success. Ever wondered why they keep the maximum age limit to 28, 30 or 32 for that matter? For the simple reason that you can succeed.

Keep on working. Just remember, even if you stumble, you are bound to make a few more steps, hell, if it's clumsy, but you'll make a few steps. But, if you just quit, you can't even stumble, forget about succeeding!
