A family of seven, comprises four males and three females. They, along with a female family friend, have gone to a resort and are enjoying themselves around the circular swimming pool of the resort. The swimming pool is divided into two parts - the inner children's pool where all the unmarried children are playing a ball game facing the centre and the outer adult pool, where the remaining members (all married) are standing. guys finally gave my sbi po prelim exam today. Attempted 69 question not bad but 24 in english, 16 in reasoning and 29 in aptitude. Could have done better i feel.
English was moderate , close test was a bit confusing, some of them had 2 answers, FIB was very easy, some of the synonym antonym in rc had 2 answers , para was on social media marketing, how is it beneficial in advertisements and its importance for organisations, overall i feel 17-18 would be a good score for me almost 80-85% accuracy. I spent 12 mins to answer 24 ques.
Next was reasoning , started off well with inequality they had given A>=B=C Next was relation it was not straightforward but u have to understand the implied hidden relation, for example if D is A's only daughter, A married to B,F is A's sister. B is mother of C, C is married to E. How is E related to F? Overall 3 questions very easy. Next was direction, pay utmost concentration here they had given north, south, right, left, with distance, one was to find direction of y with respect to x, another is direction of z with respect to x and also the distance. 2 questions easy. Now the puzzle part which to do the big question? I chose north south 8 people linear arrangement solved it in 5 mins, but then i faced difficulty in deciding next puzzle, chose the wrong one it appeared simple but was very confusing.This similar question came for me in sbi clerk main can u believe it? twice i got stuck. B,D,C,E,G,F are arranged in no particular order of weight in kg.C is not the highest. Only D is less than F. C is greater than B & E. B is less than E & G. G is having 45 kg weight. The third lowest is 31 kg. If E and B weigh 19 kg more than G, how much does C weigh? I wasted 7-8 precious mins just to answer 1 ques i didnt answer 4 other problems of the same puzzle. Overall 16 attempts in 21 mins, hope i cross sectional cutoff. Last 27 mins were devoted to quant, did 29 ques to boost my overall score, and this section being my strong point. started with 5 easy simpf. Attempted 5 di, 1 was table based number of students enrolled, % of those good in kathak was given and male: female ratio of those enrolled in kathak was given. It was an easy di. 2nd di was bargraph of A and B showing sales of each from 2005-2010 year wise. This di was even simpler. Next attempted 5 quadratic eqn, be careful of this part the values of x and y were in each case like 4/5 -5/6 -3/4 so concentrate more and focus here. 3 of 5 number series i attempted and 2 i left. 6 miscellaneous i attempted mostly, age, area, investment & profit, probability and combination, simple interest and work, pipe cistern. This was my best section and 29 with 100% accuracy should hopefully be enough. Totally attempted 69, expecting 55-60, Lets hope i qualify for mains.

O Bhai sahab, chadarmodo ne kya paper bnaya h PRE ka... Pre me ye haal h to MAINS me CAT level ka paper hi expect karo. Jinhe lagta h unke chances h pre qualify krne k tyari shuru kr do abhi se... Paper set krne wale k launde ka ho gya tha last year is liye behen k bode ne aisa paper set kia h.
Ek puzzle banane me 6 min gye (north south) exam de kar socha usse accha 13 accurate bana kr baki 6 min quant ke 6-7 kr sakta tha. Ab to yar accuracy hi bacha sakta hai warna khel khatam. Eng -20 Quant -15 Resng - 18 Bas cutoff 40 ho jaye :P to descriptive dene ka experience le paunga . Ha ha .
