Puys and Pals , i need some help. Could y'll tell the accurate level of difficulty of the puzzles, arrangements in the Sbi po exam ? I have generally got the idea, but i need some more detailed one. How much time does it take to solve one puzzle for an average student? And which puzzle should be touched and which shouldn't be?

For General Awareness -
1. First thing first, major chunk of this section will be current affairs, and hence you should emphasize on this more. You should go through CA from May to July (till the last day before the exam), as most of the questions from CA will come from these months. However, as this has been seen in UIIC as well as SBI Clerk, they are asking a couple of questions from January too, but the cost-benefit ratio is very less and hence, you can choose not to go through it.

2. The other part, banking, the best source for basics of which can be prepared with the help of Frequently Asked Questions section, on the RBI website. Mrunal's videos/articles too are very good. The remaining portion of this can be prepared with the help of any Banking Capsule. If you want a detailed understanding of Banking, you should go through the video modules of 'Learning Space' on YouTube with the title 'Banking Awareness Lecture".

3. For the next part, Finance/Economy, Mrunal videos are a very good source. The handwritten notes on catmentor website based on it are equally good, if you prefer reading, rather than listening and watching,
One should also go through NCERT chapter of National Income and Growth, and Class XII NCERT on Macroeconomics.

4. A teeny tiny part of this section is static General Knowledge. GK is a vast subject altogether and it covers everything under the sun, however, in Banking they only ask about Wildlife Sanctuaries, National Parks, Tiger and other such reserves; Capitals; Currencies; Rivers and related projects; Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants, Constituencies of cabinet/state ministers, Head of nations visited by PM/Prez recently etc. The best source of all these is Wikipedia. But, since everyone likes spoon feeding, you can download any capsule/syrup from any website around the time of the exam.
