Hey all..wer can we kno the correct paper pattern of Saturday's slot of SBI Prelims?? it wil be of help for those having the paper on Sunday.

P, Q, R, S and T finished a work, working from Monday to Saturday, one of the days being a holiday, each working overtime only on one of the days.

R or T did not work overtime on the first day.

Q worked overtime the next day after the holiday.

The overtime work done on the previous day of the holiday was by R.

There was a two days' gap between the days on which P and Q worked over time.

P worked overtime the next day of the overtime day of S.

#puzzle 1

P, Q, R, S, T, U, W and X are eight persons a family. There are three married couples in the family. The persons are from three generations. All females of this family are married. Q and P are the offsprings of S while W and X are the offspring of T and R respectively. U is the wife of S. R is one of the females and she is not the wife of P. Among them there are three Teachers, two Businessmen, two Athletes and one Painter. Each person has only one occupation. All of them are sitting around a circular table. They sit in such a manner that only one of the grandsons of S is sitting between R and P, while only T is sitting between Q and U. One of the sons of S is on the immediate left of S. Only one person is sitting between R and Q, but it is not X. W, who is not sitting next to Q, is also not sitting opposite S. Q is not sitting opposite a female. The persons who are on the immediate left of W and immediate right of Q are not Teachers while X is a renowned Painter. The persons who are sitting next to T are neither Businessman nor Teacher.

A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table facing the centre. Each one of them has a different profession viz. doctor, engineer, architect, teacher, clerk, shopkeeper, businessman and banker. A sits third to right of teacher. D sits second to left of G. G is not an immediate neighbour of the teacher. Only one person sits between B who is the shopkeeper and teacher. The one who is an architect sits third to right of the shopkeeper. H sits between architect and engineer. E is not an immediate neighbour of H. Engineer sits third to the right of clerk. Only one person sits between businessman and F. E is neither a businessman nor a doctor.

Who sit/s exactly between the architect and the businessman?

1) C and H 2) Clerk 3) Banker and shopkeeper 4) Doctor 5) C and teacher

find the relation!

.i x2 + 29x = -210
II. Y2 + 28y = -195

All the best to everyone for the Prelims, 👍

Not forcing these things upon you, I'd just like to point out few things-

1. DO NOT go with e-Aadhar! DO NOT. They won't accept, no matter what.

2. If possible, DO NOT take you mobiles/tabs etc to the center. They only cause distraction.

3. If you're someone who gets thirsty every time you see a question paper, then better take your own bottle (of water).

4. If marks in mocks dent your confidence, then it is advised that you don't take them prior to one day of the exam. If they don't dent your confidence in any measure, then you can even attempt at 10:00 AM if your exam is at 3:30.

Personally, for me mocks don't affect my confidence. I took OB mock last year on the day of the exam, scored some 33. In the exam, I cleared the cutoff easily.

Took UIIC free mock this year, scored only 87. Next morning, attempted 177 in the exam (Paper was easy).

5. DO NOT take notes to the exam center, they don't help you.

6. DO NOT switch among sections. Its not safe. If you're attempting English, complete it. DO NOT think that of attempting RC and PJ after completing rest of the paper. You'll NEVER get time for that.

The order of doing questions may differ in one section, say, in Reasoning you attempt puzzle at last, and complete the other parts of that section before. But, DO NOT switch to any other section before completing the one you're attempting.

7. Taking sound sleep, meal and other such routine activities are subjective. If you're nocturnal and your exam is in morning, you can also choose not to sleep. Watch your favorite film(s) and go for the test.

8. DO NOT go with a predetermined number of  questions that you'd attempt. If you're able to solve 70, do it. Do not get content with 55 correct ones. Some people don't attempt more thinking that the cutoff would be low, or if they attempt more, chances of getting negative marks would be more. The limit should be only for the sectional. Secure 11-12 marks in each section, that's all. DO NOT limit the overall score to any number. Score as much as you can. Marks only increase your chance, as well as confidence for the Mains.

.

All the best!

whichone of the buk s best for quants?? arunsharma or sarvesh verma??

Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below:

Six plays A, B, C, D, E and F are to be staged starting from Monday and ending on Sunday with one of the days being an off day, not necessarily in the same order, Each of the plays has different time duration: 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 1(1/2) hours, 2 hours, 2(1/2) hours and 3 hours, again not necessarily in the same order.

Sunday is not an off day and a Play of 1/2 hour duration is staged on that day. Play A is staged immediately before Play E. There are two plays staged between Play F which is for 3 hours and Play C which is for 1(1/2) hours. The off day is after the staging of Play E and there are two days between the off day and Play A. Play D which is for 2 hours is not staged on Monday. The play staged immediately before the off day is of 3 hours. Play A is for less than 2(1/2) hours.

How many plays are staged before the off day?

1) Two 2) One 3) Five 4) Three 5) None of these
