Raise the ceiling of tax rebate under section 87A from `2000 to `5000 to lessen tax burden on individuals with income upto `5 laks. what does this mean?

Who wanna know what this new notification is.. Below a small insight for you. But, no bashing, I'm not doing a precog or something. Just sharing wat I learnt regarding..: In a recent newspaper article, that I read few months back, there was a mention that current SBI chairman is keen to promote the present so-called clerical job in a new way not as clerical tag as before, but unfortunately can't citi any online source for it, you can Google it to find more info on that. also in a dig I find SBI calling clerks as assistants, and not junior assistants, (checks careers page) but salary mentioned is as same as the clerk scale. Also in their vacancies release, they have done it for main, metros or major cities and not for all. More probably a new kind of position made or clerk renamed, or whatever, you need to apply this, as you donno whether clerk may come or not this time. Now who are buckling up to mail SBI HR for clarification, please do also ask for PO :) I'm lazy now, will do my part later
