I got reply from SBI in pmo grievance: :Sir, The nature of work in bank service is different from other Govt Services. Bank Services is full of risk and responsibility that clerks will have to face in various area of operation. The interview Board will will have to judge , whether candidate will mentally, physically ready to serve to masses in vary remote area of country distance from his home with meagre salary at very backward places with bare minimum living facilities in also odd hours without any complaint. Bank has mentioned the condition in advertisement that selection will based on written exam and subsequently interview subject to approval from Govt that is still awaited.
