@ allguys this is specially for all those who are SEEKING EXTENSION in joining.......
Guys, i called on the number given in mail, the other person seemed in a hurry , she juz told me to get in touch with the corporate office for extension.... She told me the induction programme is for 10 days and then we will have to report to our permanent place of postings and onjob training continues for one year there.
Guys pls try to find answers to the following queries if possible:
1- How long we can get extension?
2 is there any othr induction programme for people who seek extension later?
3 is there any policy of bond transfer in SAIL?
4 those who take extension, do they have to bring docs required for joining?
guys need your answers asap....

You can get extension for 2 months
There is no bond in SAIL
There is a separate induction for extension batch and the place will be communicated later to you
You have to bring all the documents

No there is no waiting list as such for SAIL. But some people of elect and mech. may get calls for BPSCL- a JV b/w Bokaro Steel Plant and DVC.
@deepali.patna mine was posted on 14th yaar... got it next day..althou in delhi... if anyone in patna have got d call lettr than u will also be getting it soon...else wat i suggest is dt cntct d HR offce and ask dem dis week... and as much i knw even if u dnt get ur call letter than also u hav to report at IISCO wid docs cmpleted in all respect... plce of posting wha pata lag jani chahye... so dnt woryy...cntents i hav alrdy uploaded of the call letter...u will b havng same thng... so jus prepare d papers... m havng sme trble in filling the contract...
